Performance Based Activities

Performance Based Activities - activities that result in grades that effect a student's GPA.  These are performance based classes held during the school day with some activities after school hours.  These activities are assessed and count towards the student's overall grade.

Concert Choir
Concert choir, a performance based course, is a mixed choral group offered to students who are interested in singing
In addition to the course work, the concert choir sings at Back to School Night, the winter concert, the spring Fine Arts Festival and other occasions during the school year.
Concert Band
Concert band, a performance based course, is offered to freshman through senior instrumental students who play brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments.
In addition to the course work, the concert band plays at the winter concert, the spring concert and other occasions during the school year.
Theater Arts
This performance based course is designed to expose students to a broad spectrum of activities within the theater, including acting, stagecraft, lighting, make-up and directing.
One act plays, fall and spring plays presented in the evenings.
Senior Practicum
This course creates opportunities for seniors to learn to function as responsible, contributing adult citizens through outside resources
Community Service project; an unpaid internship in the world of work; an independently produced product or performance; a college level course that is not covered by the high school curriculum.  FFA Ag-Co-op
